The Up and Under Foundation is a charity established by the Up and Under Group in 2007. Its aims are as set out below:
- 1. To advance the education of the public and in particular but not exclusively young people as the trustees see fit.
- 2. To relieve financial hardship, either generally or individually, through the provision of grants, goods or services.
- 3. To provide and assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth age, infirmity, disablement, financial hardship, social and economic circumstances, or for the public at large, in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.
It is the policy of the foundation to establish a capital sum from which generated income will be made available to a range of projects and causes. By doing this we can guarantee funnds being available into the foresaeable future. We have two main grant giving funds the Eric Swan Bursary and the Tom Dootson Memorial Fund.
Awards now available
All of the administration needs of the charity have been met, free of charge, by the Up and Under Group Limited.
We would welcome any clients, suppliers or local businesses using the Foundation as a chosen charity for any event they have planned.
