Beat the Freeze!

It seems the whole country is grinding to a halt, but at Up and Under it is business as usual. During the week the country stood still we have had teams out on site carrying out inspections and contracting activities. In the snowy midlands we have been taking core samples and in N Wales we have been undertaking survey works on the Menai Bridge.

It is testament to the ‘can do’ attitude of our team that we have not let a little cold weather get in the way of solving our clients problems.

In one example of lateral thinking the coring team obtained a camping stove and boiled the water for the coring rig to keep things going through the worst of the weather.
