Safe and Great Quality – Certified!

We have just undertaken an in depth, three day, re-certification audit for ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 which included a site visit to one of our projects on Thelwall Viaduct.  It was successfully completed with no non conformances.

The two auditors commented on our “comprehensive systems, unique ideas and positive culture within the organisation”.

What a mess pigeons make!

The process of external audit is in place to ensure that our systems are compliant with the standards and also act as an opportunity for us to compare our systems against the experience of best practice that the auditors have.  This can lead to improvements that benefit customers and staff alike.  This audit was the first one to combine  both 9001 and 18001, previously they have been conducted separately.

The full standards, which are valid for 3 years, are:

UKAS Accredited ISO 9001:2008 – Quality Management System Certification
UKAS Accredited BS OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification
