Foundation Update

Many of you may be aware of our charity, The Up and Under Foundation, well here’s a brief update of how they spent money we’ve helped to raise this year:

“So far in 2014 we have supported 36 youngsters with the cost of visits to the Conway Centre for adventure activity trips, paid for a joint camp where Scouts scheduled to attend the International Jamboree in Japan 2015 shared a weekend with a group of young carers. We funded a session for a group on the S Cheshire climbing wall, have provided funds to two local Scout groups, totalling over £1300, for projects and have, again, provided financial support to the Cheshire Buddies for their trip to the Calvert Trust centre in the Lake District.

We still have over £1000 available to help individuals or organisations gain access to adventurous experiences. For details see www.upandunderfoundation.org.“
